About the Authors
This project is a collaborative work created by two designers, both of whom graduated from Central Saint Martins. Drawing on their individual strengths and distinct creative perspectives, they worked closely together throughout the entire process, combining complementary skills to shape a cohesive and thoughtful outcome. The result is a work that reflects both a shared vision and the individual qualities of each designer, demonstrating how diverse approaches can come together to create a richer, more refined, and more meaningful design.
Yuhuan Shen
Yuhuan Shen is a spatial and 3D designer with a background in landscape architecture, specialising in spatial storytelling, worldbuilding, character design and 3D animation for immersive experiences and cinematic speculative worlds. She combines a sensitivity to landscape, atmosphere, and narrative with digital media to transform conceptual ideas into rich spatial experiences. Her work explores the relationship between place, fiction, and interaction, often moving across disciplines to develop imaginative and visually compelling design outcomes.
Haoyu Zou
Haoyu is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in architecture and experience across visual storytelling, spatial design, and 3D animation. His work spans video games, immersive environments, and digital experiences, where he applies spatial thinking and strong visual communication to translate ideas into engaging outcomes. He is a collaborative designer with a passion for creative problem solving and delivering impactful work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
